
LAKE MANYARA & TARANGIRE

DAY 1 - LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast, we will pick you up and head to Lake Manyara.
Lake Manyara National Park is known for flocks of thousands flamingos that feed along the edge of the lake in the wet season.
Herbivores of Lake Manyara National Park include zebra, bushbuck, waterbuck, gazelle, impala, buffalo, giraffe, hippopotamus, baboon, warthog, and African elephant. If you are lucky, you can even spot lions: here, they are renowned for their tree climbing.
Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself.

DAY 2 - TARANGIRE
After an early breakfast, we head to Tarangire National Park.
The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees.
Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and cape buffalo.
Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland,gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon.
Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog.
