Most of the children and older people at the village face malnutrition challenges due to insufficient food and lack of balance diet. They only depend on babanas and yams which they find in their environment. Those are not cooked in a suitable maneer to feed the kids and older people due to the lack of cooking oil. Therefore Tunajali Tanzania initiated a movement of donating rice and cooking oil to the most in need families and local primary schools.

1 kilogram of rice is 2000 TZsh equivalent to 1 USD and 1 liter of cooking oil is 7000 TZsh equivalent to 3 USD
